10 tips to de-stress Christmas
By Susan Johnson M (Couns)
With Christmas becoming more and more commercialised and expectations soaring it is vital to practice self-care at what can be a very stressful time of the year.
Try the following 10 tips to de-stress your Christmas:

1    Eat, drink and be merry, but remember everything in moderation.

2    Set and maintain a limit to your spending.

3    Try a present free Christmas or make your own gifts.

4    Set time aside for your own self-nurturing.

5    Practice random acts of kindness.

6    Think big thoughts but cherish small pleasures.

     7    Re-kindle old friendships.

8   Accept the past but look forward to the future.

9   Consciously compliment at least 3 people per day.

10 Tell the people that are important to you that you love them.

Christmas can also be a sad and isolating time for many people. Please take care of yourself and those around you at home, in the workplace and in your community.

Jacqui and Susan wish you all a Christmas abounding with health, wealth and happiness and look forward to working with you all in 2017.
